We enjoyed this interview with Emily White, of Emily White Designs. Emily has built a successful business partnering with developer Greg Young. Emily takes care of design and project management; Greg helps develop custom WordPress themes based on the Genesis Framework. One thing you can day about Emily — she clearly knows her customer base and is focused on giving her clients a fantastic customer experience.
This interview shows you can still be successful running a small agency. However, you must understand the needs of your primary customer base and provide an excellent experience.

Do You Have Any Favorite Motivation or Business Books?
I really don’t read a lot of business books. However, Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port is one that made an impression on me early on. Helped me understand positioning and pricing like I hadn’t before. As far as general motivation books, I love everything that Brené Brown writes, particularly The Gifts of Imperfection and Daring Greatly. Her insights on vulnerability and authenticity have impacted my life and my business in numerous ways.

Emily, What’s The Best Way That Listener Can Contact You?
Best way to contact me is via email (emily[at]emilywhitedesigns.com) or through my website contact form. I’m also on Twitter at @emwhitedesigns. Fair warning: I sometimes get a little political on there. Trump makes me stabby.
