A COMPLETE STEP-BY-STEP CHECKLIST TO CREATING, LAUNCHING & GROWING
A SUCCESSFUL MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNITY WEBSITE

This is a placeholder for your sticky navigation bar. It should not be visible.
We help schools build, market, and optimize their website—so your team can focus on filling seats and growing enrollment, not fighting with technology.
Ready to discover what’s possible?
Most families begin evaluating schools with a Google local search. If your website is hard to find in those results, prospective parents may never discover your school while actively comparing local options.
Search is also becoming more competitive. Google’s AI Overviews now appear in more than 13% of searches—more than twice their earlier visibility—and most are prompted by informational searches. For schools, that means standard organic rankings alone may generate fewer website visits unless your content is built to answer parents’ questions clearly and credibly.
For local enrollment, a well-maintained Google Business Profile is one of the strongest visibility assets available. Accurate contact and location details, recent campus photos, consistent updates, and authentic parent reviews can make a major difference when families search for schools in their area.
Deep Admissions & Enrollment Expertise
We’re not just website developers. We understand how families search for, evaluate, and choose a school. We build every page, form, and call to action to move a visitor closer to booking a tour and applying.
Ongoing Content & SEO Support
We proactively manage your site’s visibility—from local search optimization to landing pages that help parents find your school nearby.
Scalable, Modular Architecture
Start small, expand features. We build with modular flexibility, so adding a new admissions form, virtual tour, parent portal, or referral campaign doesn’t require rebuilding your site from scratch.

Your website stays accessible to every family and protects the student and family data you collect, with ADA-focused design, GDPR-aligned privacy practices, and ongoing monitoring.
Accessible by Design, Private by Default
We build and maintain your WordPress site to WCAG 2.1 AA standards, the benchmark most often used for ADA website accessibility. That means screen-reader support, keyboard navigation, proper color contrast, alt text, captioned media, and accessible forms, so every parent, student, and staff member can use your site. On the privacy side, we set up cookie consent, clear privacy policies, secure data handling, and consent-based forms, so families know how their information is collected and used.
Compliance Support From People Who Know Your Setup
Accessibility and privacy aren’t one-time checkboxes. New pages, plugin updates, and content changes can create gaps without anyone noticing. You work directly with a team that knows your setup, including WordPress, admissions CRMs, LearnDash, Salesforce, and HubSpot. We run regular accessibility audits, fix issues as they come up, manage data retention and access requests, and keep your forms and integrations privacy-compliant. Your staff can stay focused on enrolling families instead of worrying about legal risk.
Across 2024 and 2026, Google’s updates have leaned hard into one idea: prove there’s a real, knowledgeable human behind the page. Keyword stuffing and technical shortcuts have lost their power, while schools that publish honest, well-informed content are climbing. Sites slipping backward tend to coast on thin pages and tactics that stopped working years ago.
Six major core updates landed between March 2024 and December 2025. The March 2024 release hit hardest; it ran for a full 45 days and targeted low-value content, with Google aiming to reduce low-quality, unoriginal content surfacing in results by 45%.
For most school websites, that’s a win, not a threat. If your site genuinely explains your programs, walks families through admissions, and articulates your educational philosophy, you’re the kind of result Google is actively trying to promote. The schools taking a hit share a familiar profile: a two-paragraph “About” page, near-identical copy recycled across every program page, and a blog whose most recent post is from 2019.
TE-E-A-T Should Drive Every Page You Publish
E-E-A-T, Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness, is the lens Google uses to decide whether a page has earned its ranking. It should shape every word on your school’s site.
A SEMrush study found pages with strong E-E-A-T signals were 30% more likely to land in the top three results. Translated for a school site, that means:
Experience: Copy written by the people actually doing the work: teachers, administrators, admissions staff. Not recycled marketing language.
Expertise: Program pages with real substance, showing genuine command of curriculum and teaching approach.
Authoritativeness — Links earned from educational bodies such as NAIS, regional accreditors, and local community groups, echoing the partnership-driven approach found in these private school marketing ideas.
Trustworthiness HTTPS in place, contact details easy to find, tuition and admissions information stated plainly, and testimonials from real families.
Google’s AI Overviews are quietly draining clicks from informational education searches by answering the question before anyone reaches your site. For schools, the fix is not to fight the summary; it is to compete on the searches AI cannot answer well: the ones about your specific school and your specific community.
This is arguably the largest change in search behavior since the move to mobile-first indexing, and it is barely being discussed in education marketing circles. An analysis published by The Digital Bloom tracked AI Overviews on 6.49% of queries in January 2025, then 13.14% by March roughly a doubling, or a 102% jump, in two months. The more troubling detail: 88.1% of the queries that trigger an AI Overview are informational, which is precisely the category most school websites are built around.
The click math changes once an Overview appears. Figures cited by DataSlayer put average click-through at about 8% on Overview queries versus roughly 15% on standard results. A narrower study from Seer Interactive measured an even steeper fall on affected terms, from 1.76% down to 0.61%.
Why This Matters for Your School
If your content plan leans on broad questions such as “what makes a good private school curriculum” or “how much does private school cost,” you are competing with a machine that answers those in the results page itself. The visitor gets what they came for and never clicks.
Better ground to fight on:
Named-school searches “[School Name] reviews,” “[School Name] admissions deadlines”
Local comparisons: “best private schools in [city] for STEM”
Decision-stage searches: “questions to ask on a private school tour,” “how to evaluate a private school”
Program-specific depth: your actual faculty, curriculum detail, and student outcomes, which no summary can invent
Treat your website as the authoritative record of your own school. AI can paraphrase general ideas about private education; it cannot manufacture the specificity, proof, and voice that only your institution can publish.
One flag: the original contained a stray line: “That’s a 69-percentage-point increase in a single year” that does not follow from the 6.49%-to-13.14% figures cited before it. I left it out rather than carry over an unsupported number, but add it back with its own source if it belongs.

“We were looking to move away from an expensive and limiting SasS based website to WordPress and BuddyBoss/LearnDash solution and we needed a partner who could help us with that, along with some complicated custom coding requirements. We also needed help with moving away from Active-Campaign to a cheaper WordPress-based solution.
